Ernest Lemon
Ernest Ray “Butch” Lemon, the youngest son of Matthew and Dorothy Lemon, was born on June 21, 1958. He was a 1976 graduate of Pine Forest Senior High School and thereafter did a short tour in the United States Army, receiving an honorable discharge. Returning home to the Fayetteville area, he worked a variety of jobs as a cook, mechanic, carpenter and most recently a in-home residential care giver.
He leaves to mourn: his father, Matthew Lemon, Sr.; five brothers and one sister, Michael Lemon of Augusta Georgia, Thomas Lemon of Ashville, North Carolina, Jeffrey Lemon of Atlanta, Georgia, Daniel Lemon of Spring Lake, North Carolina, Bernard Lemon of Spring Lake, North Carolina and Sandra Simmons of Silver Spring, Maryland; two sisters-in-law, Carrie an Brenda Lemon; and a host of nephews, nieces and friends.
