Henry Davis

Pastor Henry Harrison “Faye” Davis was born on November 11, 1947 in Kathleen, Georgia to the late March Davis and Inez Milton. As a young boy, Henry accepted Christ and served on the Usher Board at Piney Grove
Baptist Church until his call of duty in the United States Army on
July 20, 1967. After serving his country, he returned to Piney Grove to continue serving the Usher Board. He relocated to Fayetteville, North Carolina in 1977, where he has lived a victorious life in the Lord. He was called into the ministry and pastored Living Waters Church of God in Christ until he took his rightful place with Christ (St. John 14:1-4) on July 13, 2010 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Henry “Faye” loved life to the fullest, welcomed everyone with an open heart. He spent most of his time teaching the true and unadulterated Word of God to his family, friends and everyone he met. He never met a stranger.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife, Brenda Autry Davis; daughter, Sonya Davis Russell (Craig) of Jacksonville, Florida; three sons, Reginal Davis of Warner Robins, Georgia, Spencer Davis (Al-Nisa) of Kathleen, Georgia and Jamaal Davis of Fayetteville, North Carolina; five brothers, John and Bobby (Denise) McIntosh of Bonaire, Georgia, Daniel Lawson, Jr. (Ola), Bruce McGhee (Anita) and Jay Johnson all of Warner Robins, Georgia; six sisters, Bertha Amber of Atlanta, Georgia, Lillie Mae Coleman of Macon, Georgia, Edna Walton, Lula Thorps and Carol (Willie) Mack all of Warner Robins, Georgia and Mary Frances Louis o Pompeno Beach, Florida; seven grandchildren, Miguel, Ge’Amantae, Amiyah and Tony Davis, Kourtney, Justice and Saadia Russell; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
